OBS, Streamlabs & RTMP

Professional encoders send video to ShoortPlus using RTMP. Use the OBS / RTMP tab in Studio to get server URL and stream key.

  1. 1Open Studio → OBS / RTMP tab.
  2. 2Click Generate stream key (uses your ShoortPlus account).
  3. 3Copy Server (RTMP URL) and Stream key.
  4. 4In OBS: Settings → Stream → Service: Custom.
  5. 5Paste Server into Server and Stream key into Stream Key.
  6. 6Click Start Streaming in OBS.
  7. 7Viewers open your LIVE room in the ShoortPlus app when ingress is active on the server.

Tips

  • •Recommended OBS settings: 2500–6000 Kbps video, 48 kHz audio, keyframe interval 2s.
  • •If Generate stream key shows an API error, a local fallback key may still be created — deploy server routes for production keys.
  • •Web Studio (browser Go LIVE) and OBS RTMP are different paths; do not run both on the same room unless your workflow supports it.
